Our church has a powerful conference annually and it is called the Women's Empowerment Conference (WEC).  It is hosted by Dr. Keira Banks.  The awesome thing about the conference is that it is truly empowering.  When you leave you will have been given instructions on how to make your life better, but you must choose to make it happen.

One of the things that Dr. Keira said at the WEC 2007 that impacted me was the following (paraphrase):

We must learn to pray.  We can't be too LAZY to pray in the Spirit (speaking in tongues).  This is our heavenly language and satan cannot even understand it.  When we are praying in the Spirit, we are given downloads of strategies for everyday living and more. 

Wow!  After hearing this I better understood the importance of my prayer time and praying in the Spirit.  If you do not have a heavenly language, you should contact your church about it - it is a gift from God. (I Cor 12:28)
